How to use the Sort CSV converter
- Drop or paste your CSV.
- Type the column name to sort by and choose the order.
- Click Convert and download.
What to know
- If every value in the column is a number, the sort is numeric, so 10 comes after 9. Currency symbols and commas are ignored for sorting.
- Text is sorted naturally, so item2 comes before item10.
- If the column name is not found, the first column is used.
Questions
Does sorting change my data?
No. Only the row order changes. Values are written back exactly as they were.
