How to use the JSON to CSV converter
- Drop a .json file or paste JSON text.
- Pick the delimiter. Use semicolon if your spreadsheet uses a comma as the decimal mark.
- Click Convert and download the CSV.
What to know
- Each object becomes a row. Every key that appears in any object becomes a column.
- Nested objects become columns like supplier.name. Arrays are kept as JSON text in one cell.
- If the JSON is an object that contains an array, the first array found is converted.
Questions
What if objects have different keys?
All keys are collected into one header row, and missing values are left empty.
Will Excel open the file correctly?
Yes. The file is UTF-8 CSV. If accented letters look wrong in older Excel versions, use Data, From Text/CSV and choose UTF-8.
