How to use the CSV Cleaner converter
- Drop your CSV or paste it.
- Choose which cleanups to run.
- Click Convert and download the cleaned file as CSV, Excel or JSON.
What to know
- Trimming removes spaces at the start and end of every cell, which also makes look-alike duplicates match.
- A row counts as a duplicate only when every column matches an earlier row. The first copy is kept.
- Spaces around column names are trimmed too, so headers like " product " become "product".
Questions
Can I remove duplicates based on one column?
Not in this version. It removes rows that are identical in every column.
